Shoreditch – Forefront Of Art & Innovation
Shoreditch has been Central Londons historical district since the early 1500s. Its the birthplace/location of many bands and artistic companies across the UK, such as the punk rock priors the 4-Skins, William Shakespeare who performed plays in the Judor Theatre in Shoreditch, Barbara Windsor and Charlie Chaplin who performed in the Theatre before becoming famous. The district is one of Central Londons most artistic and entertaining areas, filled with character, style and trend.

The area is also a popular place for web-based businesses to buy or rent office space in Shoreditch. The boom of web technology caused an uproar of serviced office space rentals through Central London and, in particular, Shoreditch which became home to many creative web-based businesses and entrepreneurs.

Curtain Road is Shoreditchs most popular combination of style and business. Its said to rival the West End with its entertainment industry, art galleries and bars, whilst still home to top Central London office rent and rent offices. Theres nothing better than clocking out of the office and making your way down Curtain Road for a quick drink or to see the latest show.

The forefront of Central Londons art scene has recently been redecorated, too. Former industrial buildings, around Curtain Road and Old Street in particular have been redesigned as office space and serviced office space rentals. Old Street is a prime Head Office location for paramount businesses – such as Last.FM, SocialGo, Dopplr and 7Digital. Shoreditch office space rents are a hot spot for creative and innovative businesses all around the UK.

Shoreditch was, in the past, more noted for a working class and poverty stricken area. But Shoreditch has now been blessed with a wealth of culture, knowledge, creative atmosphere, innovative businesses renting innovative office space in Central London and excellence through style; the area has grown into a hub of central entertainment and business networking.

Voip Network Marketing – Innovative Or Old Hat?
One of the newest and hottest network marketing products to hit the ground running in recent years is VOIP. VOIP stands for voice over internet protocol, and this is just a fancy way of saying, “using the internet to make phone calls.” Many internet companies who provide cable and internet services have gotten in on VOIP, and customers enjoy the service because when they bundle products like cable, internet and phone together, they find they save a lot of money.
VOIP network marketing works just like any other MLM model. Entrepreneurs sign on to sell the internet and phone services directly to consumers. Once they’ve built up a customer base, they recruit new entrepreneurs into the system and make a commission of their sales. Those individuals recruit new individuals, and so on down the line.
VOIP network marketing received a nod of endorsement from the Donald Trump Reality show “The Apprentice” in 2009. It was the first time that a network marketing company was ever featured in a prime time television show. The show featured the newest VOIP technology at the time, video calling. It was truly a “Jetsons comes to life” moment and many in the network marketing field were excited by this endorsement. The VOIP network marketing community was especially thrilled, because in recent years the industry has come under fire for being an alleged pyramid scheme.
As with any network marketing opportunity, it is important to research the history of your VOIP company before joining. This can be tricky because a lot of VOIP MLM opportunities are not household names. This is, of course, because the success of these companies depends not on national advertising, but the success of the individual marketers. Unscrupulous companies exist because, as the technology evolves, many people will want to ride the wave. Technology can be a tricky business, so look for a company that has been around for a long time. Those who have evolved with the technology and added and removed services accordingly will be stable in the long run.
You should also research the customer service quality of the VOIP company. If a client continuously drops calls or has their internet or cable shut down on them, they will cancel service. VOIP services are becoming increasingly popular and the industry is getting competitive. Regardless of the compensation plan, if the customers aren’t happy, the company can’t sustain itself. Quality of call and quality of customer service are of the utmost importance when choosing to join a VIOP network both as a consumer and network marketer.

What Entrepreneurs Should Learn From Julius Caesar
In the heights of the Roman Empire, Julius Caesar stood leagues above the rest of the world. Some historians would argue that he was the most powerful human to ever walk the planet, and how can you argue? But, to me, he offers more than just a book I read in high school, though that book is rarely used as an example of entrepreneurship and it should be. However, he is more than an example; he is the heartbeat of the world of innovators and should be seen as the guide for all entrepreneurs. Julius said things like ““It is better to create than to learn! Creating is the essence of life.”, “I would rather be first in a small village in Gaul than second in command in Rome” and “how to avoid getting stabbed in the back at work.”, and all of these quotes could be thought of as symbols of the way we all must think.

He was an inspiration and a role model for the free world, though he was an emperor. He should be read by entrepreneurs, not Zig Ziglar or Robert T. Kiyosaki, he was the real deal. He owned the world, not a sales technique or a real estate strategy. True power comes from understanding true power, not what someone else wants you to buy. He also said “Men freely believe that which they desire”, which is why these “gurus” exist. Make sure you are reading all the time, but make sure you are reading things that draw real thought and come from a place of where you would like to be one day. Don’t believe the hype and rush into a business that someone else claims to be a success in because most of the time those that you should learn from cost more than .95. Go to the source of information and do it right or don’t do it at all. It may sound strange, but be like Frank Lucas in American Gangster and go to the source directly or stop playing the game. Find the people that matter in your world and get to them the right way.

Now, being that Julius Caesar was the most powerful man in the world, I can safely say that he understood success and power better than any of us ever will. This is what no modern day book can teach you, how to truly handle success. Sure they teach you about the things to do to be a success and the road to walk down, but do they teach you how to handle it when you get there?

There is something that very few people knew about Julius Caesar. He always had a shadow behind him while he ruled his empire. He always had a skinny peasant standing behind him that would lean over and whisper in his ear which would change the look on his face and the way he would speak. This peasant was not a God or a Statesman; he was a peasant that Julius Caesar himself paid to work for him. Everywhere Julius would go, this poor man would go and never did this poor man speak to anyone but the Caesar. Never did anyone know what they spoke about and why he was there. But, the story behind this man is one that I have taken to heart and every other businessman that is truly destined for greatness should also take to heart.

The story goes like this. One day the Caesar was walking through his palace and he stopped right outside the gates because he saw a man working on the wall. His guards immediately ran to accost this man and Julius stopped them so he could ask this man what he was doing. The man replied that he had been working on filling a hole in the wall, at no cost or want of recognition. The man explained that 2 known criminals had come in to his eatery in the poorer section of Rome and spoken about this crack in the wall. They spoke of the ways they were going to use it to break in and steal from the Caesar. Without thinking twice this man came to fix it. Julius was stunned and amazed and took this man under his arm for a walk. After this walk, no one really knows what happened because of the secrecy involved, this man never left the side of the Caesar again.

The legend says that Julius had taken this man in and provided his entire family more money than they could ever spend in exchange for his undying loyalty and time. He saw what he thought to be a true Roman and a real honest man and rewarded him for it. However, this man would have the hardest job in all of Rome, as the legend goes, and through his occupation every free spirited innovator should learn.

Julius Caesar, the most powerful man on the planet had asked this peasant to be his voice of reason. He had given this man the daunting task of being the voice of reason to the most feared and respected man in the world in a time of pure chaos. This man, that no one knew, or ever spoke to, had the task of standing behind the most imposing figure in history at all times. Every time the Caesar got an ego or stepped out of line, according to the guidelines of best practices and Roman rules that Caesar himself wrote, you would see this skinny peasant lean in and whisper to Julius. He was only allowed to say one phrase in public and was rarely allowed to leave the grounds. For this his family never had to worry about financial matters ever again. But if he were to ever fail; his blood line would have ended on the spot.

Julius Caesar hired a man to stand behind him and whisper in his ear, “You’re only a man, you’re only a man, you’re only a man” which is a far cry from the rich and powerful of our time. Today the rich and powerful will pay people to tell them the exact opposite and even pay to have others lie to them so they feel even more omnipotent. Caesar understood power and its uses and downfalls and took the time to look in the mirror. He noted that every powerful man will be tempted to think they are Godlike in the face of fame and fortune and he humbled himself at every possible chance.

This story, though legend and not historical (because they killed him too before anyone had a chance to ask him what he did for a living) tells me more about success than anything any “guru” ever could. It tells me that we all need to have a voice of reason and a person to stay in our face about the things we do on the way up or at the top. And, that it is more important WHO we are and not WHAT we are or what we have done. Take this this to heart and find those in your life that tell you the truth at all times and hold on to them at all costs. You may not even like them, but you need them if you plan to be a real success and not just another wanna be “guru”. I have found 3 in my life and they have saved my rear end more times by keeping me in check when I succeeded than anyone could ever have helped when I failed. It is more important to have your feet on the ground than your head in the clouds. Don’t be afraid to look in the mirror and when it is hard to do, make sure you have someone there to hold it for you. The bottom-line is simple, power corrupts and only those that truly deserve it will maintain it. Protect what is yours and stay true to who you are as an entrepreneur, it is the only thing you can really control. Hiring a coach to keep you from making mistakes is usually not needed, but having a coach that helps you stay as focused as you did on the way up, will never fail.

Top Eleven 2011 Trends for Entrepreneurs

As we launch into the new year, here are the top 11 trends that entrepreneurs need to be aware of, think about, and for which we should all prepare:

1. Economy will still Struggle: This is the biggest question on everyone’s mind. If experts in public relations and marketing were coaching me to write this blog to be popular, they would tell me to speak positively about the economic trends for 2011. But I just don’t see it on a macroeconomic level, and I refuse to sugarcoat things for the sake of writing a popular blog post.

I know of some entrepreneurs who are thriving and some who are struggling or who have already shut their doors. But most are treading water. And this will be the same news come the end of 2011. I’m saying it, even though you probably wanted to hear something differently.

In his post Yet More Evidence of Hunkering Down Among Small Business, Jeff Cornwall expresses concern that if entrepreneurs aren’t positioning their enterprises to expand, a full economic recovery seems distant at best. But there are plenty of strong niches and unique opportunities that will continue to thrive at the hands of adept entrepreneurs.

2. Working Capital will be King: Yes, the saying usually says that cash is king. But tough economic times have taught many entrepreneurs that their working capital is sacred, primarily because it is the key to immediate and short-term cash. Those who make it more efficient (see Working Capital – Less is Often More) will out-perform their competitors. Those who protect it from being used on capital expenditures, excessive owner compensation, and other outflows not helpful to generating immediate and near-term gross profit, will find the empowerment it brings to succeed regardless of almost any external or economic pressure.

3. Results-Driven Marketing will be one of the biggest Difference-Makers of the Year: What happened to measuring marketing performance? Many entrepreneurs are so infatuated with marketing that they have become soft in measuring the results it generates. Some have justified spending more in marketing as a strategy to overcome the recession, and most of them are out of business now, having bled their working capital dry without a tool to measure if it was actually paying off. Marketing metrics will come back into fashion, and cost per lead and cost per customer acquisition will be numbers that successful businesses drive as low as effectively possible. John Donal Leavy has a lot more to say on this topic here: Outcome-Based Marketing in 2011.

4. Capital Expenditures will be up: Most businesses have held off on necessary capital expenditures in 2010 for two reasons. First, they were concerned they would not get the expanded Section 179 tax deduction for 100% of their purchases, and, second, they were concerned about over-spending in a tough economy. With the Section 179 deduction increase extended through 2011 and a still-shaky economy, most entrepreneurs are deferring that pent-up demand to 2011. Don’t be fooled by it, because capital expenditures will likely drop again in 2012. You can read more about this in an article I wrote for American Express OPEN Forum–Five Finance Trends Every Entrepreneur Needs to Know.

5. Going Green will no longer be a trend–it will be an Expectation: A little ahead of this trend, in my opinion, the folks at Willoughby Design wrote: Going Green is not a Temporary Craze-It’s an Expectation. If you haven’t accepted this fact, your competitors will gain more traction and sustainability than you. Period.

6. Fixed Fee and Flat Rate will win more business: Whatever it is you sell, have a fixed price for it. If your customers feels, in any way, that their cost for your product or services is variable, it will decrease your chances of getting the business. Figure out how to price your products and services and deliver what your customers need. The argument that every customers’ needs are different is becoming obsolete, and so are those who base their entire business model on it. Here is just one example from an attorney who wrote about how Customers Love Flat Fee Billing Based on Defined Deliverables.

7. Mobile, Cloud, and Social Technology will continue to converge: As these three technologies mature, they will continue to converge and become the future of how we think about and use technology. You can read just one of many opinions on this here: Convergence of Mobile, Cloud, and Social.

8. Entrepreneurial Borrowing will move further away from Traditional Sources: It will get harder and less attractive to get traditional loans from banks. Increasing an Entrepreneur’s opportunities to adequately fund his or her business is a topic of heated debate, but few seem to really get it. You can read more about these challenges at altconsulting.org, and you can also expect more innovation in getting entrepreneurs access to the funds they need in 2011.

9. Compliance Enforcement will Increase: The IRS has 0 million more to spend in enforcement programs in 2011, and many state and local tax and other compliance agencies are spending more in enforcement as well. Plan for it, and then you’ll be ready when it comes. It’s becoming more likely that it will.

10. Social Security Temporary Tax Cut is a sign of things to come: One provision of the Tax Relief Act of 2010 left me scratching my head. Everyone knows the social security system is underfunded and will be bankrupt in a few decades unless the program is overhauled. So why did Congress reduce the amount paid into the fund by two percentage points, or up to ,136 per worker? It just doesn’t make sense, unless the long-term plan is to wipe-out the cap, currently set at 6,800, altogether, to match the same way the medicare tax is currently treated.

11. Hiring will focus on value-add, regardless of position or responsibility: Most studies and surveys say that hiring will be stagnant among entrepreneurial companies in 2011. But those who do hire will focus on the value each new employee and position will bring to the company. They will be Improving Your Business Hiring Practices and only hire when an employee is the only way to advance towards their goals and objectives.

Hopefully these trends and tips will help all of us turn 2011 into a year of prosperity and growth.

Barvetii Wealth Consultants: The Future-Proof Entrepreneur

Barvetii International Wealth Consultants is always looking to invest in entrepreneurs that have the correct attitude and skills needed when starting out in a new venture.

The Future-Proof Entrepreneur: New Tech Trends

Pesky thing, tomorrow. Day after day, it shows up and brings technological innovation that alters the best-laid plans of every business owner.

Managing for the future isn’t easy. Emerging technologies and new developments can create a tumbling mash-up of hard-to-understand products and services, from web-connected printers to robots that represent you in meetings. And some innovations are even harder to get your head around–like an internet that thinks on its own and actually does some of your work for you. (No kidding, that’s coming.)

To keep you sane–and to try to help you get some sleep at night–here is our list of the top 25 tech tips, trends and megatrends: what’s new now, what will be new tomorrow and what you can expect to grapple with even farther down the road.

Master this list and, with a little luck, you can keep that next new day under control.

Barvetii Wealth Consultants: The Future-Proof Entrepreneur – Web-based office software

The major software players are in a battle royal to sell you word processing, spreadsheets and other web-based office software.

There’s Google with its Google Apps office suite, Microsoft with Microsoft Office software tools and Adobe with its Buzzword online word processor–not to mention new entrants like Zoho and ThinkFree. Yes, cloud-based office tools really can save you money and make the tech aspect of your business more efficient. All your work can be backed up, accessed and–most important–shared in real time from anywhere that has a web connection.

The smart play: For optimum features, security and durability, install both a cloud-based tool and a PC-based tool side by side in your business. That way you have the sophisticated collaboration tools like Google Apps for content creation and sharing alongside a top-quality, on-premises tool like Microsoft Office or OpenOffice.org with bombproof security. Redundancy is always better when it comes to office software.

Barvetii Wealth Consultants: The Future-Proof Entrepreneur – Mobile business apps. All that cool software on Apple’s iPhone really does have some competition: Google’s Android Market, Research In Motion’s BlackBerry App World and Microsoft’s Marketplace for mobile apps offer software that compete step for step with code coming out of Apple’s App Store. Troll the app markets for tools you can use in your business. (See related story, “The Smartphone Gets Smarter.”)

Insider tip: Follow the app development communities on Facebook and Twitter. They offer the best developer gossip on what’s new, what’s necessary and what’s coming.

Barvetii Wealth Consultants: The Future-Proof Entrepreneur – The touch kiosk. Perhaps the iPhone’s greatest gift to business society is that it got us in touch with touch. Devices like desktop HP TouchSmart 600t (,030) and Acer Aspire Z5600 (0), as well as printers from Epson like the Artisan 810 (9) now come with powerful touch-activated options.

Do this now: These touch-activated tools can be tricked into becoming powerful business kiosks. Put one in the office for your customers to use and save a fortune over dedicated professional, walk-up interactive systems.

Office in a box. Ever wonder why you need all those different phone servers, e-mail servers, routers and document servers stuffed into your tech room? The truth is, you don’t. Products like the Sutus BC 200 (price starts at ,000) and edgeBOX office SOHO (price varies by configuration) are combining phone servers, e-mail servers, routers, document servers and firewalls into a single low-cost device.

Cut your costs: Fed up with that crazy expensive telephony reseller you’re using? Test drive one of these alternatives.

Business-class text messaging. Turns out the plain vanilla short messaging service (also known as SMS, or text messaging) on your cell phone can come in handy. Fast and robust, texting really can be a business-grade communications tool. The trick? Bulk short messaging firms like Clickatell (price varies by country) and RedOxygen (U.S. messaging starts at 8 cents) help turn SMS into a mass marketing message or a way to get groups to communicate smarter.

Be warned: SMS can get pricey, so make sure you are doing it for the right reasons and can show the ROI on each text you ship–whether it’s more customers, larger incremental sales or improved internal productivity.

6. The interactive sales pitch – Bigger, faster and better office networks. Two new networking standards are getting set to turbocharge how data moves around. The geek-speak to know here is: “Dual-band 8.02.11n class” wireless routers, and “USB 3.0.” Dual N routers, like the D-Link Xtreme N 450 Gigabit Router (DIR-665) (9), were built to move big HD media files, but they make killer small-business networks, too. And USB 3.0 speeds up locally connected devices like the LaCie Rugged 1TB USB 3.0 drive (5) so they run at awfully close-to-wired Ethernet speeds.

New technology bonus: USB 3.0 drives are also engineered to use less power. The power savings won’t be much, unless you deploy the technology on a massive scale, but it still counts. And drives generate less heat.

The smarter ledger. Online financial software is one of the sleeper pockets of value in web-based business tools. Intuit gets most of the media buzz for its QuickBooks offerings, but several other web-based options can upgrade how you keep your books. These tools do require you to be even more security conscious (important tip: change passwords often), but they allow you to import expenses, invoice clients and share data with your accountant pretty much as your fortunes change. Maintained carefully, they also make tax time a breeze.

Barvetii Wealth Consultants: The Future-Proof Entrepreneur – The wall outlet that pays for itself. Electricity is dear for some businesses, particularly those in power-starved California. But developments in smart grid technology are creating clever ways to save juice: The ThinkEco Modlet (price to be determined), the Tenrehte Technologies PICOwatt (price ,999) and the Ted 5000-G (9) let you track and manage power remotely.

Tech tip: Use a remote plug to turn the lights off when you’re not at the office and watch that monthly bill go down.

Translation software goes mainstream. Though long considered a nonstarter, translation software is finally becoming reliable enough for businesses to use. Several cool tools offer quick and easy means to port content internationally. They won’t replace the live editor entirely, but they can be useful for basic tasks.

Our translator picks: Google Translate (free), Babylon (free to start then .70 per month per user) and Systran Premium Translator (9)

Barvetii International Wealth Consultants Spain was formed when three investment brokers joined forces to create one of the world’s leading boutique brokerages. The company was born out of frustration since many of the larger brokerages were cumbersome and bureaucratic, the partners formed Barvetii International Wealth Consultants Spain with the idea that there could be a small, maneuv

Capital Funds, Politicians Monitor Entrepreneur Hotbed
Build-a-Company has made entrepreneurship borderless and new companies will grow more aggressively and with greater maturity than ever before. Time to market will decrease dramatically with new companies utilizing the power of a social network, globalization and innovation. It has never been easier to validate and mature ideas with the help of thousands of like-minded people and companies in the same community.
In a time of global crisis, people all over the world are still determined to fulfill their dreams in local or global setups. It is easy for any entrepreneur to get going. A volatile business idea can be submitted within minutes and from there on thousands of members can access the idea to help or get involved in the project. This, on the other hand, also means that individuals, companies and capital funds are constantly monitoring Build-a-Company for projects to get involved in.
While Build-a-Company holds the drive and innocence of entrepreneurship, the global impact can be enormous. Creative forces are constantly being unleashed and everybody is moving in same direction. It is agile, borderless and even local business projects think global in their delivery models to gain competitive edges. The site members want to create jobs or participate in interesting projects, find long term relationships with the right people and create wealth for themselves. Innocence or not; this is hardcore business dating and an enabler to create potentially millions of jobs.
The website expects to grow to more than 50,000 members in 2011, which is a rather conservative target. Worldwide more than 64 million people between the age of 18 and 64 have been involved in early-stage entrepreneurial activity already, while the figure including people who think about becoming involved in entrepreneurship exceeds 500,000,000 people.
Build-a-Company is connecting the right people rapidly and the site is considered a paradigm shift in the way companies are being built. Meanwhile, entrepreneurs are unconsciously fighting recession by creating jobs for others along the way. Who knows, there might be a new Wal-Mart, Sodexo or Nestl among the many great projects on the website?!. No wonder politicians, companies and capital funds are monitoring Build-a-Company closely. It is an entrepreneur hotbed and the number of rough diamonds is second to none. So is the value.

Common Features Shared by Successful Entrepreneurs

Most researches show that there are a set of common characteristic features shared by successful entrepreneurs. These traits have also been identified as crucial to achieving success in business ventures. Most successful entrepreneurs seem to possess a good degree of managerial and organisational skills in addition to being innovative, creative and the capacity to predict the future.

Some of the characteristic features of most successful entrepreneurs include the following.

Good health is a hallmark of an entrepreneur. Most entrepreneurs keep themselves healthy, strong and resilient and can work beyond the working hours as and when required to grow their business.

Entrepreneurs always feel a strong drive to achieve what they want. Most entrepreneurs are goal-oriented and clearly focussed towards evolving successful business strategies.

Quite often, their enthusiastic nature puts them under difficulty to function in a highly structured organisational set up since they always tend to feel others are not catching up with their speed.

Enormous amount of self-confidence is one of the most important features of successful entrepreneurs. They are never bogged down by challenges and difficulties as they come and they immediately take action to fight them out successfully or change the course of action towards finding suitable alternatives to carry the venture forward.

Entrepreneurs are always in the process of thinking out of the hat and develop new ideas to develop and promote businesses guided by their market knowledge and far reaching prediction skills. They always dislike being lethargic or inactive and are keen in getting things done within the stipulated time.

Skilful problem solving abilities keep entrepreneurs apart from the rest of the masses. Most entrepreneurs are capable of analysing the problem situation and decide on the solution that is best for the organisation. They are also able to work on multiple challenges at a given time and devise solutions that do not impinge on the other areas and can give comprehensive development across a range of platforms.

Above all, the capacity to face reality is one of the most distinguishing features of entrepreneurship.
